All-new Nissan Magnite EZ-Shift Breaks Cover in SA

A new range  geared to inspire more adventures on the road has been added to South Africa’s popular and sleek Compact SUV, the Nissan Magnite as Nissan South Africa announced its latest model update, the new Magnite Non-Turbo EZ-Shift (2 Pedal “AMT”) with 3 grades.

The new model is set with an automated manual transmission (AMT), offering a smooth and comfortable drive.

The new Nissan Magnite EZ-Shift is the most affordable 2-Pedal SUV in the market and comes with the 1.0-litre non-turbo engine and Automated Manual Transmission with almost similar features of the current 1.0L non-Turbo engine grades (Visia, Acenta and Acenta Plus).

“We are excited to launch the new Magnite EZ-Shift, which builds on Nissan’s global SUV heritage and advanced technology, offering a feature-rich crossover experience that delivers on style and presence,” Stefan Haasbroek, Marketing Director at Nissan Africa, said.

“The newer budget models each have a naturally aspirated engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The new 5-speed AMT will bridge the gap between the manual and continuously variable transmission (CVT) variants,” Haasbroek added.

As has come to be known of SA’s most affordable compact SUV range, the Magnite features the latest technology as part of Nissan Intelligent Mobility (NIM) and carries on its heritage as a game-changer in its segment.

The compact SUV is a testimony to Nissan’s Global SUV DNA spirit of relentless innovation and Japanese engineering, offering South Africans range without compromising on safety and comfort.

This new range proves that the Magnite remains the perfect partner for life’s urban adventures, boasting great performance specs and cutting-edge technology onboard.

Haasbroek noted, “The new Magnite EZ-Shift remains bold from every angle. Fit with a 2-tone exterior, chrome door handles for the Acenta grade, and LED lights for the Acenta Plus model which is a feature-rich premium offering with a dynamic road presence.”

It also features dual front airbags to ensure safety in the entry-to-mid level range of vehicles in the segment. This is because many governing bodies across the world have imposed rules and regulations that require automotive manufacturers to provide passive safety systems.

The new Magnite EZ-Shift is available at the nearest retailers with prices ranging from R243 900 for its entry model, the Magnite 1.0 Visia to R279 900 for the Magnite 1.0 Acenta Plus EZ-Shift.
