AEVAC Seeks Public Input to Enhance Cybersecurity Standards for Autonomous Vehicles

The Spanish Association of Autonomous and Connected Vehicles (AEVAC) is seeking public input into its ongoing survey  to enhance cybersecurity standards for autonomous vehicles. The overarching objective, according to a statement, is to help create a safe and customer  centric future with autonomous transportation.

CEO of AEVAC, Aitor Fernández, said in the statement made available to AUTO REPORT AFRICA that “At AEVAC, we believe that the collective input of the public is crucial in shaping the future of autonomous transportation,” adding ” Your insights will help us create safer and more reliable autonomous vehicle technologies that benefit everyone.”

AEVAC works every day to promote the development and adoption of intelligent, sustainable and inclusive mobility solutions based on the technologies of autonomous and connected vehicles, in order to improve the quality of life of all people.

”At the Association of Autonomous and Connected Vehicles (AEVAC), we are dedicated to promoting the development and adoption of intelligent, sustainable, and inclusive mobility solutions based on autonomous and connected vehicle technologies. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for all people through these advancements.

”We are reaching out to individuals with an interest in the automotive sector to help us identify key concerns regarding Autonomous Vehicles, particularly with cybersecurity. Our goal is to develop standards and regulations that will ensure safer, more customer-centric autonomous transportation technology.

”To achieve this, we have created a short survey to gather insights from the public. There is no need for prior personal experience with autonomous technology; we are simply seeking your opinions and perspectives. You can find the survey here

”Via AEVAC, the survey is being conducted by selfy-project.eu, an initiative focused on improving the safety and resilience of connected, cooperative, and automated mobility (CCAM) solutions against cyber-attacks, malfunctions, misuse, or system failures.

”Your collaboration is invaluable to us. By participating in this survey, you will contribute to the development of robust cybersecurity measures that will protect and enhance the future of autonomous vehicles,” Fernández stated further.
